Windows XP Setup Instructions

 

STEP 1

Click on the Start, All Programs, Accessories, Communications, then New Connection Wizard.

STEP 2

It may ask you for the Area Code and Country/Region. Make sure the 807 is in for the Area Code and country can be U.S. or Canada. Click on OK and OK again after that.

STEP 3

Now click on Next and select Connect to the Internet and click on Next again.

STEP 4

Now put the dot beside Set-up My Connection Manually and click on Next.

STEP 5

Put the dot beside Connect Using a Dial-up Modem and click on Next.

STEP 6

ISP name you can call TBAYTEL then click on Next.

Now it will ask for the Dialup number, which is 624-3000 in Thunder Bay or # for our region. After that is entered click on Next.

STEP 7

It will then ask you if the connection is for anyone’s use or me only. Select Anyone’s Use and click Next

STEP 8

Now it will ask for your username and password. Enter those and it is a good idea to keep everything checked off under this window then click on Next and Finish.
