Using your TBayTel Calling Card

WITHIN CANADA & THE UNITED STATES

To place calling card calls within Canada and the United States dial 1-800-550-4629 or 1-866-822-9835. When prompted, enter your Calling Card number and Personal Identification Number (PIN). Then enter the area code and telephone number you wish to reach.

  • You must dial one of the above access numbers to receive TBayTel rates. Access numbers are also located on your calling card.
  • Only use your calling card when you are away from your home phone number.
  • With your Calling Card, you can place up to 10 calls in a row without hanging up. Simply press "#" after each call and follow the prompts. For assistance after-hours or when you're out of town, call 1-800-264-9501.

FROM INTERNATIONAL COUNTRIES

To place calling card calls from international countries dial the Canada Direct access number for the country you are in and follow the prompts, selecting TELUS Communications Inc. as the preferred carrier.

  • The Canada Direct access numbers are listed on your TBayTel Pocket Guide or call 1-800-264-9501 before you travel to obtain the current access numbers.

  • When you use your TBayTel Calling Card and the Canada Direct access numbers, charges are applied to your TBayTel account in Canadian dollars.
