Required Information
Tbaytel requires all new customers and existing customers requesting a change to present service and calling features to provide complete and updated billing and credit information.
What We Need
- Your complete address
- How you would like your directory listing and name display to appear
- Personal information — Employment and credit information
- The type of telephones you want. You can rent your telephone sets from Tbaytel. Single line residence and business customers must have all jacks and inside wiring installed by Tbaytel.
- For Home Service:
2 pieces of acceptable identification - For Business Service:
Business ownership information - For Internet Service:
2 pieces of acceptable identification - For Mobility Service:
2 pieces of acceptable identification - For Service in a Rented Property:
Landlord's name and phone number
- For Home Service:
* Connection and service charges applicable. Home phone service exempt from connection charge.
Advance Payment & Deposits
New Tbaytel customers or customers reestablishing service may be asked for an advance payment or deposit. (Deposits are based on local service and long distance charges.)
Deposit Refund
Deposits are refunded with interest on establishment of a payment history with Tbaytel, or once service is disconnected. Your deposit and interest will be applied to your account.
No Charge to Disconnect
The minimum connection period is one month. Call Customer Service to disconnect your service free of charge.
Telephone Directory - Listings, to Order
The annual Tbaytel directory is placed in in homes and businesses in Thunder Bay. The directory includes up-to-date emergency phone numbers, maps, community and City of Thunder Bay information, area code listings, an events calendar, Tbaytel services and products, white pages, government information and the Yellow Pages.
